Well Qurate Retail Inc. The webcast of the dog-and-pony show for Wall Street runs more than six hours. But Qurate put out a press release Monday summarizing some of the takeaways that honcho Mike George shared. The home shopping channels are venturing onto new turf — baby, outdoor and tabletop. It lifts people up, helps them solve old problems in new ways, makes their lives easier, and connects them to the wider world. Qurate Retail is investing in an expanded digital store, adding new digital-only brands across HSN and QVC over the past few months and entering new categories, such as baby, outdoor and tabletop.
Bottom line is if it were selling well it would be on more often. I think the brand has run its course. Many think the styles are matronly. I am surprised this line has lasted this long I am an old lady of 65 but never found the the line fashionable or wearable. I have pretty much skipped clothes shopping for late fall and winter items for the 20 years I have lived as a snowbird. I still have too many clothes I get to wear once, maybe twice a year.
