Richard Harrison has been through a lot of hurricanes — Andrew in Miami, Ike in Houston and about four more — but Hurricane Sally still took the Navarre Beach resident by surprise this week. This came from the sound and not from the Gulf. Harrison was one of the many beach residents cleaning up their houses Friday after flood waters resulting from Hurricane Sally damaged their homes. There was little standing water along Nine Mile Road, but debris littered the area and surrounding residential roads.
